Nicholas Russell and David Strunc met as coworkers during their earlier years at a large wirehouse broker-dealer.

EST. 2009

Nicholas and David opened Sunrise Wealth Advisors as a full-service, independent financial firm on November 09, 2009.

Nicholas and David continue to provide customized financial services for hundreds of individuals and families in Florida, the United States, and abroad.

Each advisor is the primary point of contact for his own clients, but it's a team effort to provide continual support for all investors at Sunrise.

David specializes in DROP programs and provides family services to dozens of local Florida families. He has hosted educational seminars, presenting on topics like taxes in retirement, retirement strategy, and more.

Supporting our community is an essential part of who we are. We believe in giving back through meaningful actions that inspire hope, foster connections, and make a positive impact. It’s our way of showing gratitude and helping to create a brighter future for those around us.

Toys for Tots

We are proud to support the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, a cause we actively participate in each year. By helping to collect and distribute toys to children in need, we aim to spread joy and hope during the holiday season. 

Hands On Orlando

Introduced to these good-natured advisors by a staff member, Hands on Orlando is a helpful resource in finding new and local volunteer opportunities. Nick and Dave never know what volunteer event they have been signed up for -- but we think that keeps life interesting and fun!

Habitat for Humanity

We won't claim to be skilled builders, but with the assistance of our local Habitat for Humanity chapter, we have a lot of fun trying to strengthen our construction skills (emphasis on trying) and fulfillment in giving back to our community. 

Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando

We love our fur friends and believe in giving a pet their well-deserved second change, which is what Pet Alliance is all about. Dogs and cats need to 'prepare' for their big adoption showing days, which entails plenty of walks, baths, and general shelter cleaning.
